If you may note, I have placed a photo of myself that my oldest DD took of me on Christmas day; but what I wanted you to capture were the quotes above the photo and the scripture below it.
Attitude is everything. Pick a good one.
I think this is so important and can be an effective tool in how we lead our lives. The relationship we have with family, with God, our friends, our tone, our work, in our body language and just life in general. Do you all think so too? So going into the new year, I hope to continue a good attitude and hope you all will adopt this little saying too.
Okay now, in saying this, here is what I've captured underneath the photo which is also one of my WIPs I am working on.
I want this to be a reminder to me from this day forward and throughout the rest of the year.
La D Da: A Right Spirit
I am also participating in Blackbird Designs Yahoo Group winter SAL and so I thought I would show a pic of my progress.
Blackbird Designs: Winter Wonderland
Okie Dokie. For those of you that are having snow. I hope you all are enjoying it.
Glory Bee freebie: I love Snow days
I will close here and just now say "Thank you" all for coming by and visiting my blog, leaving your comments and for your friendship. I have said in the past and I will say it again, and will continue to say it. I appreciate you all and I am forever blessed by your comments and your visits.
I also want to wish you all a Happy New Year and I hope you all will find a renewed spirit for 2011.
May God bless you all.
Hugs and hugs.
Jackie.

God Bless you too, Jackie! I hope you have a wonderful new year!!
Love your pic and the quotes...I stitched that La-D-Da A Right Spirit last year...was stitching it for myself, but my daughter commented on it, so I had it framed and gave it to her for a Christmas gift in '09!
I noticed your photo right away; DD has a gift in her photography! Thanks for sharing your insights. You touched on a couple things that I am currently working on, so I know just what you're saying! Have a blessed new year, Jackie.
And a very Happy New Year to you too!
I just love the La-D-da piece you are working on. Love the colors and the sentiment.
And the snow days one is cute. Though you can have the snow. We just got 18 inches or so and I am already tired of it. :)
A Blessed New Year to you and yours.
Look at momma's dimples! The picture is pretty! Tell DD good job! Your thoughts are on point and Right Spirit says it all. Saw your lists...you can do it!! Happy New Year!!
What a lovely picture, Jackie! I agree with you wholeheartedly about our attitude. One of the things I keep telling my girls - now young adults - is that we must be what we wish to become. If I want to *be* a "sweet old lady" someday, I need to practice patience, kindness, love, forgiveness and generosity now. Praise the Lord for His help!!!!
Happy New Year Jackie!
Love your photos, and especially love Snow Days, cute ornie!

Great post, Jackie! I tell my kids to "make it a great day".
What a long list of accomplishments for 2010!
That's a great picture of you too.
Happy New Year! (Or should I say Make it a happy new year?) :-)
Wow! You have accomplished so much this year! It inspires me to get working in 2011!
Thank you for coming by my blog and for your sweet words. I so appreciate the encouragement and the guidance. I replied to your comment on my blog so I won't go into it here.
Your work is gorgeous, as always, and I love seeing what you've done and what you're working on! Now I'm going to pull out my x-stitch! :)
God bless you!!! - Julie
By the way, love the Scripture!! I am praying for that very thing. Thanks for the gentle reminder!!
Love your picture! Your light for Jesus just shines in your face! :)
God bless you - Julie
What a lovely picture, Jackie. It's always nice to "see" someone when we're posting.
Yes, attitude is everything and we can be nothing without the Lord's help and guidance.
A Blessed and Happy 2011 to you.
You can be proud of your accomplishments in 2010...such beautiful work!
*HUGS*
I can see your sweet spirit in this great picture (DD is a good photographer). I agree, attitude makes all the difference! You got lots done in 2010, and I'm looking forward to seeing more in 2011. Happy Stitching!
Great pic of you, Jackie! I love that psalm... I was going to comment that I have that La D Da chart and then saw your beautiful WIP of it! :) I love your start on Winter Wonderland, too. I will start it as one of my Crazy January pieces.
Happy new year to you and yours, Jackie!
Have a lovely New year Jackie...
Happy new year and best of luck with the Crazy January Challenge (I'm taking part too).
HI, Jackie!
I enjoyed reading your post and so agree about the right attitude for the New Year. Loved all your quotes and my goodness, what a list of accomplishments for 2010! I bet you'll exceed it this yr!
Have a wonderful New Year!
Sharyn :-)

Whew - your challenge lists make me tired just reading them! But I see that you are doing the Scripture series from Little House Needleworks. I will be interested to see how you finish the pieces. I was thinking about a wall-hanging type of quilt, but I don't do any other kind of sewing besides cross stitch.
You have such a sweet spirit. Your blog is always so pleasant to read and so inspiring when I need to get my fingers moving!

Bless your heart my friend... such a lovely post Darlin' and such inspiring words... I so love A Right Spirit by La-D-Da... it's been on my Wish List since I saw Jan's last year and I must go ahead and add it to my stash... Yours is coming along beautifully as is your BBD's Winter Wonderland! Lovely wee snowman ornament as well.. You have some lovely finishes for the year, my dear and your challenge lists are so very inspiring! I will be cheering you on!
Your new photo is so lovely, Hun... You are such a kind and loving soul... I'm always inspired when coming by your blog or reading your emails...
I started the AofH on the New Year... Also started Christmas at Hawk Run Hollow on Christmas Day and I'm loving it...
Wishing you much love, joy, good cheer, a warm hearth, blessings abounding and loads of peaceful stitching thyme...
Blessings always in stitches...
