Hello again. Two post in one day.
Hope you all have a safe 4th of July Holiday.
Okay, If you love your freedom, thank a soldier. These men and women guard our way of life.
I salute you all and your families for your sacrifice and "Thank you" all for your service.
This is my "Waste Not American Doll." No fabric was wasted. The leftover fabrics was used to make the other accessories.
Here are a few of the "bolts" of fabrics that was used to make up her dress, hat, aprons, needlecase, rug and doll quilt.

Doll quilt. My attempt at handquilting. Not perfect; but made do.

Okay! Here I was thinking I was done.
Just one more.
Have you ever purchased pattern, fabric and floss that became a UFO before you even placed one stitch in? Well this was one was one of those pieces. After about eightish years, I pulled this one out, started it and finished it; but I admit, it ate my breakfast, lunch, and dinner to finish it. Very densed stitching.

I sure hope you all see something you like.
Be blessed, "enjoi" and be safe.
Always,
Jackie.

Very nice work on Eliza Jane. You did a good job on the hand quilting too. Like everything it takes practice.
Gorgeous patriotic display. Love all the attention to detail.
Jackie, you doll is darling! I love the hand pieced quilt. To me it looks perfect. Everything looks wonderfully displayed. The Texas stitching is lovely, but i know what you mean about that dense stitching, it can drive you crazy. I enjoyed talking to you today!
