Watch Words

Thank you, God

for all You have given me;

for all You have saved me from;

for all I am because of You.

Wisdom and Understanding

Lord, grant me the serenity

to accept the things I cannot change,

to change the things that I can, and,

the wisdom to know the difference.

Is it spring yet? Am I too late?

Is it spring yet?

Hello FOST (Friends of Scattered Threads), recent followers and visitors,

How have you all been?  I hope this greeting/post find you all doing well.
Isn't that a beautiful flower y'all.  I captured this pic one day in April while it was raining here in the dessert. I hope this spring flower with it's April rain will  brighten your day. Hope I am not too late.

Okay!  I believe this is where I fell off the blog scene; somewhere in April.  I did not go away intentionally.  I have been well, just awfully busy.  For you all that inquired about me, just want you all to know, I truly appreciate it.  Sincerely.

Alright!  I will spare all else the details and get about our business.

Not very much to show for the amount of time I was absent. However, here is what I was able to squeeze in.

I think I skipped mother's day, but still managed a go out to eat and sit down mother's day dinner.  Boy did I need it at that point.
Here is what I stitched, easy peasy red work called

I finished off my UFO doll quilt.  I needed to just add binding and label.

Sometime in May, I was just out of steam.  I consulted with my bag of tricks (UFO pile) and I felt like the little engine that could.  I wanted to do a quilt, so here is my UFO quilt.

and now I'm a bit early for the red white and blue day.
The next two have been completed for some time, about sevenish years the oldest and I hope to get to a frame shop this year.

In the meantime, I'll see what else I can round up to post and will be peeking in on y'alls blog.

So y'all come back now, 'ya hear!

Be of Good Cheer.
To God be the glory.

what joy to see you back, Jackie! You did get a lot done and all of it so cute! You were surely missed in the blogging world, but who can fuss when you've got so much to show for it. BTW, I pulled my Earth Gatherers UFO a couple weeks ago.

Well, you have turned out some lovely pieces...as usual!! :-) I know Lil Momma just loves her skirt. You just have to share a picture of her modeling it. I cannot wait to see what you do next!!

Hi Jackie!!! Nice to see you back to your blog. I know all about busy but busy is good. That means like is moving along in a blessed way. I love seeing what all has been keeping you busy too. Lots of beautiful things but I must note that absolutely adorable and cheerful skirt! Love the doll quilt too! And the stitching...well, everything!

I have a rose that looks like that. It is the Edith Holden rose which a friend of mine's mother was able to get for me in a special nursery. Edith Holden is a favorite artist of mine and I just had to have the rose named after her.
